Our daughter Helena entered school in P3 and has been one of the first graduating classes of Secondary. She’s now in University, which gives us great perspective. In this regard, we have to highlight the excellent academic level she achieved. The teachers manage to motivate them to mature and achieve goals that are not easy. Both in high school and in the international program she chose, we see the results of all these years of work. Marco, our second child, is already in S3; with him we see the same attention and progress that Helena had; and we hope that everything goes just as well for him.
Undoubtedly, the small groups allow getting to know each student, their character, and their needs. Beyond academics, close contact facilitates comprehensive education from when they are children until they can fend for themselves.

My parents enrolled me in English School when I was two years old, and I completed up to P6 at the school. English School felt like home, helping me not only with school matters but also with my personal development.

I have been living in Amsterdam for four years now, where I pursued a degree in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics followed by a Master’s in International Development Studies. Without English School, I wouldn’t have had the opportunity to experience this, not only thanks to the English-language education but also because it showed me that there was a much bigger world than Barcelona through the international environment at the school. I was a student at the English School in my childhood. I have fond memories of those times. In my mind, the school has always been like a great second family, where everyone looks out for each other, and no one is left behind. Thanks to that education, I’ve been able to build a professional and personal career of which I am very proud. For 7 years, my partner Lucia and I lived in Boston, where our daughter Emma was born. That was a moment in life when we decided where we would permanently settle. One of the most determining reasons that tipped the scales towards returning to Barcelona was that we wanted our girl to grow up in our culture, and we never doubted that she would be educated and trained at the English School. We are delighted to share with you our enthusiasm and motivation for this school, of which we have been a part since our daughter Natalia was 3 years old. The English School delighted us for several objective reasons: being a trilingual school, the quality of education we observed in the children upon leaving school, and the absence of class overcrowding. At first we chose the school because it had a small community where we could get to know everyone and our son could interact with children from different countries and cultures, whilst receiving useful tools that would help him throughout life. However, we also came to know that knowledge is also transmitted in a way that stimulates development, with the happiness and growth of each child as the main goal and that seemed fantastic to us.
Since we arrived in K4, the school has welcomed Gabriel with lots of love and we value that a lot. It gave us a lot of confidence, knowing that every day we leave the most precious thing in our lives in a place we trust he is treated with affection, dedication and respect. This phase of his will never come back, so we are very happy that he began his school life in such a special place. We feel very happy to see a smile on his face and share his development, whether learning a new language or in his daily activities.

We chose English School because we were looking for a school that delves into pedagogical learning, in addition to academic learning.
For us, it is very important that our children grow up in an environment where we know that both the pedagogical and psychological aspects of the individual are cared for.
We really liked the fact that the groups are small and not large classes, which allows for a very personalised education.
