Ballet
Ballet is a discipline that is not only involved with the physical education of the student but also combines knowledge of music, rhythm, body movement and graceful body expression.
Ballet is an option from the age of three (K3), and takes place during the lunch break every Monday and Wednesday from 12:30 to 13:30hs.

Everybody knows that music is one of the oldest arts and that it has always been closely related to people. Since the rhythm represents such natural cycles as the beating of our heart or the change of seasons, the intonation allows us to communicate with one another and the emotions make us love and feel, music is present in every act of daily life.
Therefore, music education represents a basic and most important point in the healthy and complete development of our students. Psychomotor skills, increase in senses’ abilities, development of physical balance and motion dexterity are some of the physical capacities highly developed by learning to play an instrument. Furthermore, the learning of a new language, the improvement of our listening skills, concentration and focus, responsibility, self-confidence, creativity, imagination and the expression of ideas and feelings through music are intellectual aptitudes deeply improved by music education.
Music is the only subject that starts and connects the two parts of the brain.
“Batucada” is a special Catalan/Spanish tradition, drumming while dancing.
